Christmas Day
We spent our first Chirstmas in 8 years with just us. Although we missed the company of family, we had a wonderful day! The kids didn't wake til 7 and we headed down to see what Santa brought. The kids stayed in jammies all day and I think it took til after noon for David and I to get showers! About 3 we had steak and shimp from the grill - yummo non traditional dinner!
Jackson got a DS from Santa. And from family he got more games for his DS, puzzles, Legos, games, cars, clothes, and all sorts of stuff in between.
They all got new lap desks too! Shelby's is purple with butterflies.
Shelby got her first cabbage patch doll and a ball popper from Santa. And lots of baby toys and clothes from family!
David got lots of parts for his Mustang, shoes, shirts, a blue ray, cd, and a smoker for the grill.
I must have been good his year bc I got this sign I wanted, clothes, gift cards, cowboy boots, cookware, and pearls from Doha.....yep deployments can be good at times! :)
Here are all the kiddos on Christmas evening!
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

First Sleepover
Jackson had his BFF, Ayden, over for his first sleepover last night. I guess you could say it was Matthew's first sleepover too since he thinks he's as big as they are!
We started with pizza, then they played, we got pjs on to watch movies and eat popcorn in the basement! The boys were exhausted and all fell asleep shortly after 10. We splurged on local donuts in the morning before we all headed to church to deliver Ayden back!
I think the first sleepover was a success!

Wing Children's Christmas Party
What fun we had this morning on base! The kids got to see Santa, the boys ran and played in the bouncy houses/slides til they were wore out and we indulged in Krispy Kreme donuts!

Reading
Here is Jackson trying to teach Matthew to read! He can't read all those words by himself- all words more than 3 letters have a picture above the word. But he is doing so well- I'm impressed with what he has learned so far this year! And this is a daily thing at our house now!

Our Little Pumpkins!
I really lazied it out this year and went with stick on decorations for the kids pumpkins! They had fun, it didn't take too long and they look cute! I'm okay with it! :) And after Halloween I can take it all off and have pumpkins on my porch til Thanksgiving that aren't rotting! :)
Introducing our Sheriff, Monkey, and Owl!

Pumpkin Patch
My mom visited this last week and we took the kids to a local Pumpkin Patch we love! The kids had a blast since the 2 days prior we had rain and they were stuck indoors!
Afterwards we let them pick out pumpkins to take home! Such fun!
As we were about to leave we ran into the Byer's! And Matthew wanted nothing to do with a group picture!
