Library Saturdays

That's what we do most Saturdays- hit up the library for more books and a couple movies! I hope the kids grow up to love reading like I do! We have a wonderful library here- I hope we find another great one when we move with lots of summer activities and preschool story times!

And right now Shelby is just along for the ride! :)

Valentine Boxes- Lego Style

Jackson had to make a Valentine Box for his February homework assignment.  Thank goodness for things such as Pinterest b/c I saw this cute Lego idea that seemed easy enough for me to accomplish with a little one crawling around!  Also Jackson is WAY into Ninjago- a Lego show on TV and he is getting into big boy Legos more and more!  So it was a win win!

 

And EVERYTHING big brother does, little brother has to also.....so he did a Valentine Box also!

 

Matthew decided on yellow and he painted a lot of it. He got bored and I had to finish it! Then we took the easy way out with him and I let him pick out stickers to decorate his with!

Jackson did a really good job of painting his - I helped him fill in a few places, but he did most of the work himself.  And then he did have me help him glue the Ninjago pieces on that I printed out......placement was all up to him of course. 

And what makes it better is we are done 2 weeks before Valentine's Day! 

A little Project

I decided I needed a Valentine's Day wreath- so off to Hobby Lobby I went! I think it turned out cute!

Big Girl Bath

This little lady had her first REAL bath last night!  She's been doing so much the last couple weeks......I'm trying not to think how fast see seems to be growing up! In just over 4 months she's going to have a birthday.  sniff sniff

She didn't really know what to think about the bath.  She would reach out and touch the water in amazement!  I never could get a good smile out of her- she was concentrating too hard!

Also this month we have gotten rid of the swing and the playmat (yay for them going to a good home of a dear friend)!  So I guess that means we are officially done having kids.  BOO!  I think I would have one more, but David is pretty set on no more! 

She has began crawling, pulling up to her knees and even up to her feet a few times!  She is eating 3 times a day, loves puffs now, but still loves to nurse and is doing it a lot still!   We are on a good morning nap schedule (which gives me time to run on my treadmill - bye bye to those last few pounds) and she's down between 7-8pm for the night (waking once still to nurse).  Our afternnoon nap is so off bc she wants to nap about 2:30, but I have to leave to get Jackson from school at 3, so this is causing a bit of a conflict!

And here is Matthew!  He would set the ball down and "karate chop" it down very SLOWLY!  Then he would lay on the floor and then get up and do a Power Ranger victory dance!  What a hoot he is!

This was when we took the boys bowling New Years Day!  We have confirmed that Jackson bowls like his Uncle Steve and just hurls the ball down there!  He actually scored a 95 his first game - that's as good as I can do!  Ha!

Our New Year

It started with snow and ended wih a little more!  The boys had fun playing in the litle bit that stuck around- throwing snowballs and making a snowman!  Shelby enjoyed it for about 3 minutes until her bottom got cold and wet!
