The great outdoors
Are good for many things.....and to little boys this may rank in the top 5!
Matthew thinks its really cool to potty outside! He will now need to learn mommy's rules:
- only potty at our house and maybe Nana's house (not at the church especially or an amusement park.....and yes that happened with Jackson).
- and only in the backyard....I promise no one wants to witness that!
I don't know why it has taken both of my boys so long to potty train (both have done it just 2-3 months before they turned 3), but I guess as long as they don't start Kindergarten in diapers all is good!
Only Matthew
would have to wear his rain boots out when it's 105 degrees out and not a cloud in sight! Although we were in need of rain and that afternoon some surrounding areas got that wet stuff we've been dreaming about! Maybe he should wear them more often! :)

2 month stats
I'm sitting here holding little girl bc she had a rough morning! 3 shots in her little legs.....poor baby! She took them like a champ though and after the initial screaming she has been doing good!
So her appt went well- baby is healthy and growing on track!
Stats:
Weight is 11 lbs, 6 oz up from 7 lbs, 5 oz at birth putting her in the 62%.
Length is 23 inches up from 19 inches at birth putting her in the 72%.
Head Circumference is 38 cm up from 32 cm at birth putting her in the 28%.
Next check up at 4 months!

2 months
Wow time is flying by! I can't believe Shelby is already 2 months old! Here are some cute pics I got of her today! She heads to her 2 month appointment on Monday and her first round of dreaded shots! :( I'm curious to see what her stats are looking like!

Mr T-ball
Our last t-ball game was tonight! Here's to another fun year of watching kids play in the dirt and run bases with helmets so big they can hardly see where they are going! :)
Big Girl
Shelby has really good head control so I put her in this for just a few minutes at a time to continue to strengthen her neck! And I think she likes looking around instead of being on her back all the time!

Yesterday we went swimming with Miss Flo! Miss Flo is one of Matthew's teachers at church and he adores her as much as she adores him. She has somewhat adopted him as her grandbaby (she has none yet) and he loves all the attention! She has been wanting to take them swimming so we went yesterday and the kids loved it- wore them out too bc they all fell asleep on the way home which NEVER happens! It was actually a little cooler yesterday and was overcast so me and Miss Shelby watched from the side...dipping our feet from time to time!
Here is Matthew with NO FEAR and his brother with ALL THE FEAR in the world! They both have to start swim lessons in the fall and if I had to guess- Matthew will be swimming on his own before Jackson!
