We had our Squadron Easter Potluck/Egg Hunt! Here are the boys with their faces painted! They have been doing this the last couple years and the kids LOVE it! HERE they are last year!
Unfortunately, Jackson and I only stayed about 15 minutes bc he had a birthday party to attend! But Matthew stayed with Daddy and had lots of fun hunting Easter Eggs! He said he got some pictures too- I just haven't had a chance to look at them yet!

We had Bee-utiful weather today, so we loaded the boys up and renewed our Zoo Membership for the year! We had a great 3 hrs at the zoo - which was needed bc everyone in our house (besides me) had a stomach virus last week- lasting a total of 7 days starting with Matthew, ending with Jackson and putting David right in the middle! I'm still not sure how I didn't catch it! And we also had rain for 4 days.....not just here and there- straight rain for 4 days! So to say that we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement! It was in the 70s and sunny! I wish all summer would be this nice!
It was also nice to have Daddy with us on this trip! We usually go during the week while Daddy is at work!

Jackson and Matthew's favorite! This is the baby that was born last year! He was quite the entertainment today! He kind of reminded me of my little monkeys!
And David's favorite! I can't really disagree- they are amazing to look at!
And we always end the day with the farm- feeding the greedy little goats!

We even got Baby Shelby in on the action! This is my FIRST ever posting of a bare belly shot with any of the kids.....and it will be the last! :)
We had Jackson's 5th birthday party at the local bowling alley! We had a few kids that couldn't make it, so it ended up being 7 little boys (which I know now is PLENTY to keep entertained)! But they had fun and we did too! We were especially happy that Daddy was home to help celebrate this one and I was actually able to be just mom at the party, chitchat with the other moms and get everything together while he was helping the boys stay in order to bowl, etc!
It was all things Spiderman this year! He is very much into superheros now and not little boys stuff! The sad thing is little brother is getting into them too, so I know he is growing up twice as fast! sniff
Gotta love that Jackson's birthday falls within Mustache March! :)

This is all he wanted- a Power Ranger Sword......good thing mom found the LAST one at Toys R Us on Monday!
But guess who like it just as much as Jackson.....little bother umm I mean brother!
Wow that was a fast 5 years! I can't believe my baby boy is already 5 and the next chapter of life seems to be approaching. Seems like yesterday that he was this little: 5 pounds and 11 ounces.
Now he is this big: 37 pounds and getting taller by the day! 
We sure do love you Jackson more than you will ever know! Continue to grow into the strong and brave little man that we know you will be on day! (cue the tears now!)
We have finally somewhat finished Shelby's room! We still need to get a couple things to fill in her shelves, a lamp for her dresser, and Sharon has to make her comforter that matches her bedding. But it's coming along and if she decided to come tomorrow - I think we would be somewhat ready.....you know besides having any bags packed, figuring out what she will wear home from the hospital and getting the car seat in! But we have made some progress for sure!
So there it is folks.....I like it! I hope she will too!
After seeing a friend's blog post about making herself a new Spring Wreath....I decided I should try my hand at one. I didn't really have one for my door, so I took her idea but made it a little different!

On a different note....Little Misses room is almost complete. I just need David to hang another shelf and her curtain rod! Hopefully he will do that tomorrow- oh to have a husband who isn't exhausted all the time.....AF regular job, upgrading to AC (almost done), Masters homework, and all the family stuff in between!
Sunday I will be 9 weeks out....umm so not ready, but at the same time I am! I am tried of STILL throwing up occasionally, the headaches, the heartburn, the sleepless nights already! But I know that I'm just going to be more tired when she's here and I probably won't even think about eating, so that enjoyment won't be there either! But she'll be worth it!
I had my glucose test 2 weeks ago and it came back good. I am going every 2 weeks now. Weight gain is up to 14 pounds gained.....so not too bad! I gained 26 with the boys each time! I guess I just keep wondering when she will come. Both the boys came before due date - Jackson especially early! Will she be little (let's hope so) like her brothers (J- 5,11 M-6,2)? Have they invented anything in 2 1/2 years that make babies come out a different way.....less painful, etc?? :) I'm guessing a big fat NO on that one!
