Pumpkin Patch Day

It was a wonderful cool, overcast, 65 or less degree day here in Florida!  We took full advantage and went to a somewhat local (just over an hour away but worth it) Pumpkin Patch today after soccer!  We are finally at the stage where we can do the corn mazes with all three children and have fun doing it!  It's the little things, right??  And the zipline......my kids LOVE it!  Happy Fall Y'all!

Fall Soccer

The boys have started soccer and a doing very well!  Jackson's offense has improved greatly and finally steals the ball from the other team and can dribble it and intentionally passes it to his teammates!  Matthew has turned a 180 and is all over the ball!  He scored 6 goals last week and 3 this week!  He loves the feeling of scoring and has become aggressive on the field!  Both boys are fun to watch!  They are also the oldest in their leagues, so we will enjoy this year bc next year they both move up and will be the low man on the field again!

SIX

This big kid is 6 now!  I just can't believe it!  He celebrated with cupcakes at school and a dinner of choice - pizza!  :)  And tonight he is having his best buddy spend the night! 

Back to school!

We are all back to school here and have been for almost a month!  It's nice to get back into a routine, but the busy sure wears a mom out!  We are back to soccer for the boys, gymnastics and swimming lessons for the little lady, church on Wednesdays for all the kids and I am co-teaching Kindergarten then.  I'm back on the MOPS Steering Team and just trying to be mom, wife, taxi driver, cook, maid, and nurse when needed!  :)

Frogs, Frogs, and more Frogs

This little lady love to catch frogs and it seems as though we ALWAYS have them in our yard!

We've been spending plenty of time at either the beach or the pool this summer.  One of favorite things to do has been to go to the sound side and catch hermit crabs!  The kids think they are the coolest things....so we play with them a while and them put them back to catch the next time!  We did catch this really cool snail type creature the other day in the most beautiful, big shell I have seen here!  I was really hoping there wasn't an animal using it for their home......I would have loved to add it to our shell collection.  Oh well! 

 

Our Reptile Guy

Our local library has AMAZING library programs each summer and we try to get to all of them when we are in town.  They do them at a state park at an amphitheater right on the bay....you can't get much better than that.  Plus we usually get a  Blue Angel Practice show right afterwards!  :) 

Today it was our local reptile guy.  Some of us were braver than others! :)  I have learned through the last 2 years to get there early and find a spot in the middle, so that I am not looking eye to eye with a snake as he walks around the crowd!

Beach days!

Our beach days are here and we are soaking it up!

Shelby turns 3!

We didn't do a party for Shelby, but we met friends at the beach that morning and had cookies!  Then we did a family party the next night!  Happy Birthday big girl!
