We decided to do another little project....put in a patio beside our deck! This way we could put our table down there and just have a little more room outside! David did half of the work - the hard part I think! He had to dig it down about 5 inches and also slope it three from the house....so lots of brain work besides the physical work! Then he had to frame it up and haul in about 2 tons of sand layering it one inch high. He finally got it all done with traveling and an unexpected March snow- and today they came and poured the concrete! Now to wait for it to dry and make sure that the dogs or Jackson don't get out the back and step in it! :)

It looks great! I am so jealous you have a patio. We really need ours extended to get rid of the swamp.
