You wouldn't believe Easter was right around the corner with these cold tempts and snow on the ground, but it is!
So we have officially switched wreaths! This was a fun one to make!

Snow cream
It wasn't very hard to find clean snow to make a little snow cream! Add a little chocolate syrup and some sprinkles and you have yourself some pretty happy kids!

Snow Day
We are in the middle of a good snow here! This is day 2 and looks like we have somewhere between 10-12 inches. It started yesterday morning giving us about 4-5 inches, then it stopped about 3 or so and started back about 8pm last night. We even had thunder and lightening through the night. This morning I woke up to 6-7 inches I would say. It stopped for a bit, but the last round has started and should last til about 7pm tonight.
I shoveled the drive yesterday and had part of it done this morning when I took a break. To my surprise - my sweet neighbor had done it when I went back out with the boys to play/work again on it. What a wonderful gift to receive!
The boys are having a great time in it- throwing snow balls and shoveling. We haven't made a snowman yet bc Shelby isn't a fan of being in her walker in the garage for too long and this mama only has 2 hands. But I think it will be around a while and maybe we will get one made after all!
I'm not much a snow person- I'm more of a watch from the window with a good book and a cup of coffee by the fire kind of person. But I'm trying to embrace it with my snow loving boys since this may be our last snow for a LONG time! :)

The Circus came to town
We took the kids to the Midian Shrine Circus. We went 3 years ago when we first moved here and I will say it was much better this year! We had a fantastic time and the kids really enjoyed themselves! An added bonus was stopping 2 exits down on the way home to eat at Cracker Barrel! YUMMO!
All his one wanted was cotton candy and he ate almost the whole bag by himself!
Mater was a hug hit with the boys! He was very comical too!
This is one job I would never have- not a fan of heights at all!

Masters Complete
This important piece of paper came in the mail yesterday. It symbolizes a lot of hard work and many hours of studying and writing papers that took him away from spending time with his kiddos and I! We are super proud of him! And SO SO glad this box is checked!

I'm just not ready
This has been a rough week. It has me thinking A LOT about life and death, why some people - the good people?? Maybe it's to impact others - I don't know?
In the last week our community lost a young 14 year old in a car crash, one of my best friends lost her grandmother, and an AF pilot was found after ejecting from a training mission - unfortunately not surviving.
It makes you wonder why these people? A young 14 year old with his whole life ahead of him or a man who seemed to have everything going for him - an awesome career, a family with a baby due in just a few weeks, a whole life to live.
It makes me ask - AM I READY?? Well, yes in the spiritual sense I am ready. I have accepted Jesus into my heart and I know I will one day live eternity with him in heaven. But AM I READY?? Selfeshly NO! I am not ready to leave this horrible sinful world. I have 3 babies here to raise, to watch grow, get married, have babies of their own. I have a husband to love, to spend many more anniversaries celebrating, more vacations to go on, more date nights, more laughs together.
I know our days are numbered. The day we pass has already been dertermined and there is no changing that. I just hope that my number is a big one.....I have a lot more living to do!
