Isn't amazing to look back and see just what all takes place over 365 days! Our family had quite the year.....here is a look back!
David - He started the year off finishing UPT and in March finally received those silver wings he wears so proudly on his chest! In April he moved us back to NC and all of our household goods in storage in a matter of 2 weeks. He then left for Oklahoma for 4 1/2 months, then Florida for a week, Washington state for 4 weeks with a little Mississippi, Kansas and NC in between. While in Kansas he started looking for us a house and found us one! Then he moved us all to Kansas the week before Thanksgiving and into our new house in December. He continues his training in his new Squadron and is loving his job and being back with his family!
2010 holds - him turning 30 and the first of many deployments!
Elizabeth - January started off with a bang finding out we were expecting another little one in September. From Jan - March I managed to throw up on a constant basis....FUN stuff. Then in March we had everyone down for David's graduation and we managed to throw in a birthday bash for Jackson, so lots of cooking and entertaining! In April I left for NC to live with my parents for about 7 months, but not without finding out we were having another little boy! Oh how my parents made life easier with a 2 year old and being pregnant! In August we took the plunge and bought a MiniVan - if that doesn't make you feel like a grown up, nothing will! David made it back 3 days prior to my water breaking and Matthew Glenn was born on 09-09-09! In November we had to do it again - say goodbye to my family.....this doesn't get easier. I managed to make a tiny, memorable Thanksgiving meal while we lived in TLF for 2 weeks w/ 2 dogs and 2 kids! We signed on our house December 4th and since I have been unpacking, setting up for Christmas and having family visit!
2010 holds - me turning 30 also (YIKES), gettng to know the area, making new friends, being a mom and playing house!
Jackson - He turned 2- those terrible...umm terrific 2's! He also started MDO in Columbus and then again when we got to Kansas! He loves "school" and it gives Mommy a much needed break! We attempted potty training with failure....trying again real soon! He became a big brother, became closer to his grandparents, moved into a big boy bed, loved playing outside and just being a little boy!
2010 holds - turning 3, potty training, making new friends, learning to share, playing, playing and more playing!
Matthew - He entered the world on 09-09-09 @ 9:06am weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces and 20 1/2 inches in length! No he couldn't wait 3 minutes! What a sweet little boy he is! His smile lights up a room! He is a good little boy to for the most part, but he loves to be held and cuddled! He finally moved into his crib when we got to Kansas after sleeping 3 months in his pack n play! He is working on trying to sleep through the night and rolling over from belly to back!
2010 holds - solid foods, teeth, crawling, walking, more shots, talking, bothering his brother, turning one, and lots of stuff in between!
May you look back and review what you did in 2009 and may 2010 hold more adventure, love, health and joy! :)
